Tempered glass is used in a variety of different commercial and residential building applications. From shower enclosures and coffee tables to sliding glass doors and deck railings.
Did you know that tempered glass is actually flexible? When a force acts on it, it can flex and absorb the impact. Regular (soda lime) glass has a tendency to shatter when flexed at all. Also, tempered glass is known by 'safety glass' because it shatters into a million little non-sharp pieces when the force on it exceeds what it can handle or a point force is applied to a surface or edge.
We supply tempered flat glass to Nanaimo, Cedar, Ladysmith, Lantzville, Parksville, and Qualicum.
